Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: May 5, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with WestHub. It applies to every Customer and every User of WestHub. By using the Service you agree to this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account and may be reported to law enforcement.

1. You will not use WestHub to

  • Violate any law, regulation, or contract
  • Infringe any intellectual property right or privacy right
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or stalk any person
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Conduct or participate in denial-of-service attacks
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without authorization
  • Bypass, circumvent, or disable any security or authentication mechanism
  • Send unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or other messaging in violation of CAN-SPAM, TCPA, or comparable laws
  • Initiate or facilitate calls to numbers on a do-not-call registry without proper consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Forge headers, falsify identifying information, or otherwise hide the origin of communications
  • Mine cryptocurrency, host crypto wallets, or operate cryptocurrency exchanges
  • Operate gambling, escort, or adult content services
  • Distribute or facilitate the distribution of child sexual abuse material — we cooperate fully with NCMEC and law enforcement on this
  • Sell, trade, or exchange firearms, controlled substances, or other regulated goods in violation of law

2. Communications and recording

  • You must obtain consent to record calls and meetings as required by your jurisdiction. WestHub plays an audible disclosure for two-party-consent compliance, but you remain responsible for confirming consent in jurisdictions with different requirements.
  • You will not record without disclosure where the law requires disclosure.
  • You will not export, share, or use call recordings or transcripts in a way that violates any privacy law or contractual obligation.
  • You will not use WestHub's voice or messaging features to harass anyone.

3. Sensitive data

  • PHI (Protected Health Information). Do not process PHI through WestHub unless West Networks, LLC has executed a Business Associate Agreement with you. Without a BAA, the Service is not configured for HIPAA-regulated workloads.
  • Cardholder data. Do not enter full payment card numbers into documents, messages, or other Customer Content. Use the Service's PCI-compliant payment integration for payment information.
  • Government IDs. Do not store unencrypted Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or passport numbers in plain Customer Content unless required by your industry and protected by tenant-level encryption.
  • Children's data. Do not process personal information of children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA) through WestHub.

4. Tenants and resale

WestHub is sold to Customers, not for resale. You may not resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent. Multi-tenant configurations are permitted only within a single Customer's organizational structure.

5. APIs and automation

  • Use APIs only with valid credentials and within published rate limits
  • Do not crawl, scrape, or harvest data from the Service except via our APIs
  • Do not deploy bots that consume disproportionate compute, bandwidth, or storage
  • Honor server-side throttling responses (HTTP 429); do not retry aggressively

6. Reporting violations

If you believe someone is violating this AUP, email abuse@westhub.app with as much detail as you can share. For emergencies involving threats of harm or critical infrastructure, contact local law enforcement first.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take whatever action we believe appropriate, including suspending your account, removing offending content, terminating the Service, and notifying law enforcement. We will give reasonable notice where doing so does not interfere with the investigation or expose any person to harm.

8. Updates

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent change.
